Samuel Irving "Si" Newhouse, founder of Conde Nast Publications, one of the most highly regarded magazine publishing companies among advertisers and agencies, died Sunday. He was 89. Newhouse, is the second industry-shaping magazine publisher to pass away in a week, following the death of "Playboy" founder Hugh Hefner.
