Champion Petfoods is expanding its marketing efforts with the appointments of three new agencies including media shop Crossmedia, digital marketing and design firm IBM iX and PR agency Finn Partners.
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada-based Champion is the maker of premium pet food brands Orijen and Acana.
The agency appointments follow the recent hiring of CMO Julie Washington who will oversee the development of the company’s brand and communication initiatives.
According to the company, the three agencies will collaborate to develop Champion’s future marketing strategy, with IBM iX helping to lead the work relative to consumer campaigns. Finn Partners will oversee traditional and digital communications, including managing the brand's public relations, social media and influencer initiatives. Crossmedia will focus on media planning and buying.
