Phelps has been appointed by the city of El Segundo, CA as its tourism AOR to help build the Southern California city into a tourist destination.
Phelps' remit is to brand the city via online advertising, content, search, social media, and media relations programs, while publishing a newsletter to inform businesses about El Segundo’s progressing corporate scene.
The overall messaging will expand the city's existing tagline - "where big ideas take off" - to incorporate upcoming nearby events, including the Super Bowl in 2020 and the Olympics in 2024.
